ASTRA SP (GULFSTREAM G100)
Israel Aircraft Industries originally introduced the Astra SP in the late 1980's before it was acquired and became the Gulfstream G100 in 2001. The Astra SP has a swept wing and tailfin design, low mounted horizontal stabilizer, twin rear fuselage mounted engines, and sharp nose. The Astra carries up to 9 passengers and is piloted by a 2 man crew, cruises at speeds up to 465 and has a range of 3110 nautical miles. It is a favorite midsize jet.
