A Higher Commitment to Safety
Mercury Jet Charter is a full service private jet charter broker, representing our clients in the acquisition of charter services from a select network of FAR Part 135 certified carriers operating under the Section 14 Federal Code of Regulations. Mercury Jet Charter does not own or operate aircraft so there is never a conflict of interest when we recommend an aircraft; this allows us to provide unbiased information to secure the safest and most reliable aircraft available in the marketplace at the best economic alternative. At a minimum, all operators we use must meet standards set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), as well as be Argus Gold or Platinum certified.
As mentioned above, Mercury Jet Charter additionally requires certain criteria to approve aircraft and carriers for flight operations in addition to the requirements set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration ("FAA") for FAR Part 135 Air carriers. These criteria include superior approval from third party independent auditing agencies (ARG/US Gold or Platinum), aircraft age and maintenance requirements, and appearance and condition of aircraft.
The ARG/US system categorizes air charter carriers and their private jets into one of four levels: DNQ, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. To qualify for a Gold rating (the minimum standard accepted by Mercury Jet Charter), carriers must provide detailed pilot and aircraft records to ARG/US for review. The Platinum rating involves an onsite audit by inspectors trained to Department of Defense Standards.
